Maharashtra Police Constable Eligibility

The department of Maharashtra Public Service Commission is also known as MPSC in India. The Head Office of the Maharashtra PSC department is located in the State of Maharashtra, Capital Mumbai. Maharashtra PSC department conducts recruitment of Maharashtra Police Recruitment 2019. Aspirants can join the Maharashtra Police service, who permanent resident in the state of Maharashtra, it wants to serve the nation and its citizens. For the various posts in the department such as constable, head constable, ASI, and SI Maharashtra Police invites applications from the eligible candidates to apply.

As per the new rule, The candidates shall first be required to attend for Written Test.

• The Written Test will be for a total of 100 Marks.
• The questions asked in the Written Test shall be objective type and conducted in the Marathi Language.
• The duration of the Written Test will be 90 minutes.
• Candidates of OPEN Category need to take a minimum of 35% Marks for Passing the exam, whereas Reserved Category Candidates need 33% Marks.

The new rule has been implemented in Physical Test format as now Physical test will conduct for only 50 Marks, Previously Physical Test was conducted for 100 Marks. Also, the written exam will be held first and then the candidates securing a minimum of 35% marks (33% marks in respect of Backward Class Category candidates) in the written test shall be eligible for the physical test in the ratio of 1:5 vacancies advertised in the respective categories.

The physical test will be of 50 Marks.
